And the lucky winner is..........................

Can you see who has won?........

This little bunny is now called 'Lillybell' and the winner is Sara @ all about eden.
Well done, I think thats a fabulous name for her and she was so excited at pulling out the name from the bucket. Lillybell also pulled out 3 lucky runner ups Victoria May Plum, Nonnie and little cotton rabbits - so send me your details girls and a little something will be in the post.

There were some excellent names - Lottie being the popular one, Violet and one of my favourites, Pebble!

Well I have been very busy what with the Open House (final weekend coming up - so grab a bargain while you can) and also I had a whole day at the allotment . Oh my god - NETTLES, BRAMBLES!!!!!!!

I now have vey sore scratched stung arms but it was worth it to see a bit of land!!! I have now invested in a strimmer to tackle the grass that has grown around the tendered areas - got to keep on top of it!!! I MUST!!!!! Managed to get 2 rows each of Sirco carrots and Autumn King in (I know - its late!) and a row of Zinnas - just like Sarah Raven (I wish!!!)

Oh well, hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather - time to get on with some sewing (new bag in production in above photo - oh and new CL!)

Jasper and his pals - Giveaway time!

Meet Jasper. He was telling me last night that he has one leg slightly longer than the other, arms that are a little bit too low (handy for tying your shoe laces though!) and a very big fat tummy! That's Jasper - off to a new home where a wee babe has been born, ah!

As I had lovely comments abot the 50th! I have decided to celebrate.
Meet this lovely little bunny - she has no name..........

As a thankyou gesture she will be part of my celebrations, all you have to do is come up with a name for her and send it to me. Then on Saturday the names will be put in a hat to decide her future!

Here she is with her best friend Dotty!

I look forward to your suggestions!

P.S. I have decided to extend the draw date till Tuesday as I will have a busy weekend!

Do we celebrate 50?

Does one celebrate 50th post? I feel like I should but it seems a wee bit indulgent!
Its been a good weekend at the Open House, sold a few bunnies and some corsages - I am on a roll................... Lets see how it goes shall we!
Kim from Ragged Roses popped by with her stunning daughters, lovely lady and we live so near to each other. A little bunny by the name of Topsy (I have named all of them!) is hopping their way, might just have to sneak a few gifts in there for her girls, thats what you do when you have 2 boys - find an excuse to spoil girls with girly things!
The flowers above are from my garden. I was given a plant from a friend who was getting rid of a few and me being me can't let a poor ill plant die. So in it went not knowing what it was but I had an inckling - my hunch was right as it is flowering now, a variegated pink wiegela!

Carrots! If anyone has problems with fussy children try crinkle cut ones! My boys are fine with veg, they seem to eat them first but I needed cheering up and tried out my new toy (just seen in pic) its great. Oooo what can I chop next!

And yes I have tried to do a bit of work - more bunnies!

What a grey grey day....

JP came back from the USA bearing gifts and look what I got! I know everyone has them but oh they are scrummy. BUT unfortunately being a man (bless him) he came back with a huge huge size! I know I have large feet but not that big. BOOO HOO!
Not to be defeated I have decided to sell them on ebay and hopefully be able to buy back the right size - fingers crossed.
Its lovely to see colour, its been so wet and grey here, musn't grumble we need the water. So I thought I would post this lovely pic from Aus. Look at that blue blue sky, ahhh.......

Life on the farm was very chilled, its seems a long way away now...........................

Spring is still here.

What a week that was. Not only did I nurse a wise tooth, sew a billion items for the Open House (which is going really well) and be there (smiling) all weekend but I had to do it all on my own as JP had to travel all the way to USA for work and leave me with 2 boys!!!! I did it, yep, I did and now I am cream crackered!
We were all very pleased to have him home - bearing gifts too!
Unfortunately he came home sleep deprived, jet lagged and to me, snotty nosed grump face! It was his birthday too, so we peeled ourselves off the sofa and went for a lovely walk to where we got the sloes for sloe gin, last year. Kim at ragged roses knows where I mean!

Its not a particularly nice pic of me, I was chomping on an apple, but just look at those wild cowslips (and the wild boys!) growing next to us and the pic above, it is still sping, I thought we had missed it when we were in Aus, hoorah!
