Oh, I'm sorry - I've checked this up and as a non-UK resident I'm not allowed to nominate or vote! I do wish you luck, though.

Maybe that means I'm not eligible for your giveaway, but if I may be included, could I suggest that you might make something to help a family celebrate Advent - we really enjoy Advent ourselves and have a growing collection of crafted Advent sets which I hope to post about nearer the time! I'm hoping to have an Advent blogging event too. So - that's my tuppeny worth! I hope you get some great ideas...

Hi Sew Recycled

I have a challenge for you. I wake up in the early hours of the morning (wide awake club) and I get up make a cuppa and take it back up to sit up and drink it. My challenge is I have Fybromyalgia and if I put my pillow upright it supports my neck for so long until it slips. So my challenge is a neck pillow not like those awful travel ones but something pretty with lavender also cosy and comfy then if I should nod off its supports my poor old neck and shoulders. What do you think??

A halloween creature please!

Congrats on your 100th post!

Love Sarah x

PS you have my vote!
Good luck, I hope you win, but I think that it is an honour just to be nominated.
I would suggest stocking bunting as it is starting to come to that time of year!
Well done on 100 posts; I am nearly there myself but although I plan to do a giveaway I don't think anyone would want something made by my hands! x

I have an idea and it might even be lucrative for you if you decide to continue making this item for others...
I received as a gift a new SLR camera, and since I have only one lens, I keep it on. I needed a camera bag that is padded, but I did not want it to be too obviously a camera bag- I might be shooting in seedy areas, you know. But I couldn't find anything really that I like! So I have a very obvious bag and am afraid to carry the camera! And...have you seen those awesome camera strap covers? Nice fabrics, even a little pocket for the lens cap...drool... well, those are my ideas- thank you!

Congratulations on your 100th post.
My vote is yours! :) And as for a challenge, hummm, as my baby boy is growing fast, perhaps a growing chart for his new room would be a cool idea.
Lots of love,

Congratulations on your 100th post, and for offering such a lovely giveaway...now for a sewing challenge to set you....well my eldest is saving for a tortoise and hoping she might have it for her birthday next week , alas they are so expensive she is going to have to wait a bit longer...but she also loves sewing ... so I wondered whether a tortoise pincushion might what you need to get your sewing mojo back ?...I hope so,she would be thrilled ! :)

I am just going to vote for you! My idea for you is using recycled materials to make angels - angels for people to give as presents. You could have Christmassy ones, but I think all seasons angels, too - or seasonally themed. And the angels could have a little pocket to put a present or message in, or you could put a message on the skirt - embroidery or applique or nametape with writing - saying things like 'Get well', 'Lots of love', 'Hugs', etc. Perhaps the choice of message coule be left to the purchaser, and you attach it on a tape at the last minute. For angels are messengers, so it would be appropriate for them to carry a message!

Hope all these comments are revving up your mojo :) How about making some pretty dog collar covers. I'm looking for some material to make some for their 1st and 11th birthdays, which are very soon.

Hi There,

I too have that ooooh feeling, the kids went back to school, the oldest one went off to Uni - then the younger ones got flu and were here all the time again. I think my mojo got extremely confused for a while there.

OK I think you should make a recycled 'holocaust' butterfly for 'the butterfly project'. The butterfly will cheer you up and at the same time you can enthuse and inspire oethers to make a butterfly.

However you can't give the butterfly to any winner it has to get sent to the holocaust museum for their massive exhibition next year.

How wonderful!

depending how old your kids are - if they are under 12 - I challenge you to take one of their pictures and either make a plushie resembling it - or stitch it for making a picture, cushion, cover or any other use.

If they are much older - then - er ....

A soft little padded bag that's easy to for my toddler to carry when he helps me collect the chickens eggs.
