Shop with style, its a GIVEAWAY!



Last month my Pocket Folding Shopping bag was featured in Making Magazine.



This project is such a simple idea, something I have been meaning to make ever since my sister sent me a Strawberry version from Australia, a couple of years ago for my Birthday.


The lovely Kate from Misformake let me loose on some of her gorgeous fabrics to use in this project. I chose  Hugs and Kisses in Scotch from the 'Loulouthi' collection by Anna Marie Horner, Rose Bouquet in Gold and Tile Flourish in Garnet, both from the 'Heirloom' by Joel Dewberry.

Now here's a chance to win the Tile Flourish in Garnet Shopping Bag (featured in Making Magazine!!!) and some Easter goodies,  all you have to do is pop over to Misformake, say hello to Kate on her blog and let me know which fabric you would choose if you get to make one!

Have fun in choosing, I know I did and if you do make one of the bags, I would love to see a picture!

*I will draw a name out of a Top Hat (yes I own one!) on Sunday the 25th March!

My favourite would have to be the washi aqua flower one ( mind like a sieve, can't remember if thats proper name ).
Thanks for a lovely blog, l'm learning to sew and quilt and blogs like yours are invaluble for advice and inspiration.

What a great way to show off your favourite fabric....or re-cycle an old pillow case. I'm over from Kate's Blog and I would use 'Washi' charcoal triangles by Rashida Coleman Hale.

i've popped over from Kate, she has so many lovely fabrics it's hard to choose, but i'd probably go with the 'dandelion hatch in blue jay' as i just love those colours

I was going to choose a Joel Dewberry fabric 'cos they're all winners! But then i had a mooch and decided on Hill and Dale - which seemed appropriate since my name is Helen Dale - ha!

I would do it in Dandylion Hatch in Bluejay, lined with Washi Star Flower Aqua, or possibly Washi Floral Natural. I've greeted Kated and added her to follow. Lovely site, fabulous bag! Congrats on the publish!

I have just been to say hello. I loved looking at the fabrics by colour choice. I was partial to dots and swirls in teal. Also little blue cars. i have become addicted to patchwork recently, particularly dresden plate designs and am always looking for gorgeous fabric.
