World Book Day, what are you reading?

Books!
We all have them but do we read them?
Our house is FULL of books and quite an eclectic mix as we all have such varying hobbies and interests.
I love all the crafting, growing baking and country lifestyle books.

Hubby loves his computer and vintage books.
In fact when we moved in together many moons ago 90% of his belongings were books!

My 12 year old son has moved on from children books, just wished he would finish at least one!

So what do you read? Do you have time to read or are we all spending more time on the computer reading direct from all the various electrical devises we own.
I love the smell of a real book, the process of turning the page but I must admit the only time I get to read these days is just before bedtime.
I always have the above book and a stash of magazines by the bed, but those weary eyes usual take a hold and I only manage a page or too, hence why its always the same book!
Where is your favourite place to read?

I have a confession too, above is the Green shelf, yes I like to colour coordinate the bookshelf in the lounge. My excuse?
You will always find the book you need by its spine, I always remember a book by its spine, works for me!

As for this shelf, well that's my 9 year old well read bookshelf!
Hope you manage to read today x

Lovely shelves - of course they have to be colour co-ordinated! I always have a couple of craft books on the go. Currently reading Jane Brocket's Gentle Art of Stitching and Erika Knight's Crochet Workshop. I have converted to Kindle for novels but do miss the smell and touch of a new book.

I have endless books on the go, and piles and shelves of them all over the house. Every so often we purge them but very rapidly fill up the spaces again!
I love books. I used to work in a bookshop, which was heaven. I am reading "Brideshead Revisited" on my Kindle. I currently read books both on and off the Kindle.
