A posy of workshops!

At last I think we maybe getting a bit of summer......
....which is just as well seeing as I am preparing for a bounty of workshops where I will be teaching various ways of making flowers!

There are so many ways of creating flowers to wear....

...my favourite are these roses below using a rather hazardous technique involving a candle!

Corsages can really enhance an outfit, perfect for all those weddings and garden parties that will be on the horizon. They are such simple techniques that once you have learnt you will be addicted!
If you are interested in learning the art of making fabric/textile corsages and brooches please come along to my workshop, you can book via Nymans Gardens.

I love using the plants in my garden for inspiration, getting in close imagining Im the bumble bee hunting for that nectar!

After all that rain, these last couple of days of warm sun have really brought the buds into bloom.

One more week and I reckon the garden will be at its best, filling the air with its heady scent of honeysuckle and roses.

So enjoy these days, bring out the deckchair and watch nature at its best!

Love those roses! I too make flowers by the'candle method and still have a few scars to prove it! Wish I was near enough to attend one of your worships though. Always interesting to see another take on what you do.

I would love to do a workshop on making flowers. They all look beautiful. Been an age since I visited your blog so didn't know you now do workshops. Nymans is a lovely location for them I would imagine. Been a long time since I've been there. Fiona

Gorgeous photos. I have been to Nymans several times when I have visited my SIL in Seaford.
